I founded Indie Connect in September 2008. Some people have compared it to a Chamber of Commerce for the music industry. That’s because the purpose of the company is to teach active and aspiring singers, musicians and songwriters how to make money using their talents! We also help them connect with the music industry professionals who can help them. Our plans are to develop local support chapters in cities worldwide,  to  produce local, regional and national conferences, to launch a FREE international e-magazine and to develop the world’s most comprehensive music industry database linking artists with music professionals.

I have been consulting business start-ups and apiring entrepreneurs for six years. My training comes from being a serial entrepreneur myself. I was also the State Director for CEO Space for five years. CEO Space is an organiztion that proides CEOs access to high-level training, contacts, resources capital, customers and more. As the latter, I have helped literally hundreds of businesses launch successfully. I have also been mentored by some of the greatest business minds in the world as part of CEO Space.

I have been working with the leaders of hundreds small businesses leaders to help them align everyone in thir organization to the same vision. What I have found too often  is that the CEO has not communicated his vision effectively to the rest of his team. As a result, managemen teams are not all on the same page, and that thourougly confuses employees. I’ve also discovered that many businessses don’t really know where they are going. Many also do they have the systems in place to handle growth.

In late 2007 I pulished a book called “CEO Secrets – What They Know Anbout Business That Every Entrepreneur Should”. I believe it is all about the CEO’s mindset. ’CEO Secrets’ explains exactly how an entrepreneur needs to view every aspect of his or her business in order to be successful.
